Original Offangle replay data
VALORANT Vandal tap, burst, and spray usage by rank
This dataset describes visible-enemy Vandal bullets classified into firing patterns. A tap is one shot, a burst is 2–4 consecutive shots, and a spray is 5 or more.
Replay observation period: 7 Jun 2026 – 30 Sept 2026. Values refresh from submitted replay aggregates.
What this dataset represents
These are aggregate observations from ranked PC replays submitted to Offangle. They are not statistics for Riot’s complete global playerbase. The sample can contain repeat participants and may not represent every region, role, rank, map, or play style.
Sample counts describe the observations named in each table, not unique players. Small samples are exploratory. The data shows observed differences; it does not establish causes or predict your rank.

Methodology and interpretation
Tap, burst, and spray percentages are calculated from their classified shot totals, with each bullet contributing to its pattern. Rank and season aggregates are weighted by classified shots. Overall and distance-band tables describe separate views of the same evidence; do not add them together.
These percentages describe usage, not hit rate, duel success, or proof that one firing pattern is better.
Read the distance bands before comparing ranks. A close engagement and a distant angle can call for different shot choices.
Shot counts are not counts of bursts, engagements, or unique players. Small counts and repeat participants limit what can be inferred from a rank comparison.
