Terms of Service

The rules and limitations that apply when you use this free, experimental replay-analysis service.

Effective 21 July 2026

1. Operator and agreement

These Terms are an agreement between you and Michel Giehl, (“we”, “us”). By actively accepting these Terms and submitting a replay, you agree to the current version. If you cannot legally agree to these Terms, do not use the upload service.

2. Independent fan project

offangle.pro is an independent fan project. Riot Games does not endorse or sponsor this project. VALORANT, Riot Games, game recordings, game content, and related rights belong to Riot Games or its licensors. We claim no ownership of them.

3. Free early preview

The service is free, noncommercial, and experimental. Features may be incomplete, unavailable, changed, suspended, or discontinued. We do not promise continuous availability, support, or that a particular replay format will remain compatible.

The current preview can transmit a replay after you actively accept these Terms and acknowledge the current Privacy Policy. Uploads are limited to one `.vrf` file of no more than 100 MB per submission.

4. Replay uploads

You may submit a replay only when:

  • it was obtained through official VALORANT functionality;
  • you participated in the recorded match and obtained the file lawfully;
  • the file has not been altered to include malicious or unrelated content; and
  • your submission and use comply with applicable law and Riot’s applicable terms.

Do not submit replay archives collected from other people, files from matches in which you did not participate, or content you are not permitted to provide.

5. Permission needed to provide the service

To the extent you hold rights that can legally be licensed, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, limited licence to receive, temporarily store, parse, and transform the replay; generate an analysis report accessible to anyone with its URL; retain extracted player identifiers, match data, gameplay events, and measurements; and create comparison benchmarks and aggregate gameplay statistics. This licence is only for operating, securing, and improving this service and continues for as long as the relevant data is retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

This clause does not ask you to license Riot’s intellectual property or another person’s rights that you do not own and does not expand what Riot permits either of us to do.

6. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • upload malware, corrupted payloads, or files unrelated to a replay analysis;
  • bypass limits or technical access controls, misuse signed URLs, or attempt to access non-public replay storage;
  • overload, scrape, probe, or test the service without written permission;
  • use results or statistics to identify, harass, profile, or target individual players;
  • resell the service or imply that you, we, or the service are affiliated with Riot Games; or
  • use the service for unlawful conduct or in violation of another party’s rights.

7. Analysis accuracy

Replay parsing and analysis can fail or produce incomplete, delayed, or incorrect results. Maps, agents, ranks, patches, and replay formats can change. Results are informational only and are not official Riot data, professional coaching, or a guarantee of performance. Check important conclusions independently.

8. Our code and content

Except for Riot-owned or third-party material, we retain rights in the service’s original code, layout, text, and analysis methods. No licence is granted except the limited right to use the service in accordance with these Terms.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict an upload or access to protect the service, comply with law or Riot requirements, investigate misuse, or enforce these Terms. We may discontinue the preview. Applicable deletion periods in the Privacy Policy continue to apply.

10. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so is unlawful, including liability for intent, gross negligence, fraudulent concealment, injury to life, body, or health, or mandatory product-liability and consumer rights. For ordinary negligence, we are liable only for breach of a material contractual duty and only for loss that was typical and reasonably foreseeable when you accepted these Terms. Any further liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

11. Governing law and disputes

German law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, this choice does not remove mandatory protections granted by the law of the country where you usually live. Statutory rules determine the competent courts; these Terms do not impose arbitration or waive collective or consumer remedies.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms prospectively. We will identify the new version and show material changes before your next upload, at which point you may accept them or stop using the service. Questions may be sent to contact@offangle.pro.
