What is a VALORANT VOD review?
A VOD review means revisiting a match to understand the decisions and mechanics behind the result. A useful review looks for recurring mistakes, checks the surrounding context, and chooses one change to practice.
Offangle supports that process by measuring events in the native replay. Its report gives you evidence to investigate: where your crosshair started, how quickly you dealt damage, which opponents punished you, and what happened after supported utility was used.
Review a replay without recording your screen
Offangle accepts ranked Competitive .vrf replay files from PC. It does not accept video files, YouTube links, or a recording of your screen. The native file contains match events rather than video pixels.
On Windows, find your replay in %localappdata%\VALORANT\Saved\Demos. Choose your recent ranked match and upload one file at a time. Analysis is free and does not require an account.
- Find a ranked replay in the VALORANT Demos folder.
- Upload the .vrf file and open the completed report.
- Inspect your aim, a recurring opponent matchup, and your weapon or utility breakdown.
- Choose one issue to review in context, then compare another match after practicing.
What the report helps you review
Aim Score summarizes measured aim performance. Crosshair placement, time to damage, first-shot accuracy, and movement discipline help you investigate the components behind that score.
Duel and weapon views add opponent, firing-pattern, and range context. Supported flash and nearsight analysis identifies affected players and linked outcomes; coverage depends on the ability and available replay evidence.
Read the replay analysis methodology and metric definitionsAutomated replay analysis and manual VOD review
Automated analysis makes repeated measurements easier to compare across matches. You can use the report to narrow your manual review to the duels or mechanics that deserve attention.
A human reviewer can examine intentions, communication, team plans, and tactical alternatives. Offangle’s measurements do not explain every decision or replace a coach. A flash followed by a kill is an observed link, not proof that the flash caused the kill.
Choose what to work on next
Start with a recurring pattern rather than the lowest number in one match. Check sample size, weapon and distance, opponent context, and whether the same pattern appears in another replay.
If crosshair placement repeatedly needs investigation, review your pre-aim around common angles. If movement discipline is the issue, review the timing between stopping and firing. These are review prompts, not personalized coaching generated by Offangle.
